SHUVE BENCH

Shuve is a playful yet multi-functional piece of furniture that serves as storage as well as a bench. The intention was to create a piece that has a lazy interaction, form, or mechanics while still being in Urquiola’s tone. The lazy interaction and mechanics was inspired Mr. Lazy, while the rope bounding and finishing is inspired by Urquiola. (Exhibited at Philadelphia Museum of Art)

Project V.R.O.O.M.

A motion platform for virtual reality gaming, utilizing three axes of motion with a combination of human and machine powered motion. I collaborated with game designers, concept artists, computer scientists, and various engineers to design and fabricate our custom motion platform and original game content. Exhibited at SIGGRAPH 2019 in Los Angeles.

REMIN

A Flexible home water system that allows users to choose the optimum water composition for specific uses around the house. Conventional household water systems are limited to a single water composition, neglecting the effects of water composed for specific uses, like brewing, baking, drinking, gardening, and cleaning. Re-Min is a variable composition device with adjustable pH, total dissolve solids, and total alkalinity. Re-Min suggests compositional presets, which users are encouraged to experiment with customizing. The integrated app allows users to record their findings about compositional effects, creating a personal, sharable water wisdom.

BOL CHAIR

A full scale prototype for a chair designed and fabricated by myself with the help of some friends. This piece aims to combine traditional forms with experimental texture to create a new language of its own. Exhibited at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in 2017.

JELDERBY

A bluetooth speaker designed to be a conversation piece by sparking wonder and intrigue. (Materials: Textured Velvet, MDF, Polyester Mesh, and Industrial Felt)

REVIVAL

Refurbished and reimagined a dilapidated family heirloom chair and into a multi-use stool/crate that celebrates its history.
